37-27 against the Cheesehead Packers! WHOOOOO!!!! This game was a precuror to the NFL Playoffs Dallas has probably secured home field advantage for the playoffs on the NFC Side!
I was watching this game steamed live on ESPN and all I can say is STUFF THAT CHEESHEADS!!!! hehehe Dallas took out Brett Favre!!! WHOOOO!!!! DAMN THAT WAS GOOD and tomorrow I will have more than bragging rights at work. I just won $50.00 from my boss! What a wonderful way to begin the weekend!!!

A new cat??
Oh lets see about 3 days ago I had a visitor in my backyard....this cat seems to think I am its owner and home. He (Nikki said it was a boy) has not left my backyard at all. My cats have totally freaked out over this interloper LOL. Nikki told me the cat did get in the house but Justin caught him and took him back outside. I will not let him in because my cats were already hissing at him and I know this cat has claws - that is unacceptable since Cornelius and Curio are both declawed and are NEVER outside. Nikki made flyers I just need to get them posted in the neighborhood. Just a new adventure in my life!
Home Repairs - Completed!!!!
Yes, it's true it took almost two weeks but the final repairs were completed today! I had them blow another 2 1/2 inches of insulation in my attic, the electrian fixed the high voltage wire and the fan in my stove exhaust was fixed. FINALLY. I have to say the inspection I had done was the best money I have spent! Later this week I will have my final review inspection to make sure everything is up to code. With that everything is done!
My G-d I cannot say how rough this has been given that I am the only one living at my home. I have missed about 2 1/2 days over the past two weeks staying here at the house while I have waited for various companies to show up and do the work they should have done correctly the first time! At least it is done! Wow.

Kevin DuBrow, lead singer of the
popular 1980s heavy metal band Quiet Riot, has been found dead
from unknown causes at his home in Las Vegas, authorities said
on Monday.
DuBrow, 52, was found dead at about 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, a
spokeswoman for the Clark County Coroner's Office said. She
said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of

One of the major reasons I love holiday weekends is that most of the radio stations have themes for the weekend. The Dance radio station (which is one of my favorite ones) is having a resurrection weekend where they are playing dance tunes that are rather old 70's-90's. Here are some of the tunes!
Wrapping up the weekend
Well today I am spending the rest of my weekend grading finals and papers. Yesterday I was just recovering. My sister and her husband are sick....and they got to sleep...those bastards! ROFL!!!! The only drawback I am facing are my sinuses are giving me hell. That's why I took it easy yesterday. Now I am off to grade papers. My sister is on the prowl for furniture for me...hehe...so my tally is:

Shopping Update again
I just got back from shopping. Got 3 ceiling fans tons of light bulbs and got lunch! Today I got my escrow overage check in the mail...I did not expect it until next week! WHOO!!!! Very nice!
Now my niece wants me to drive all the way to Gilbert to give her her wallet back! UGH!!!

WHOOOOO!!! 34-3 against NY Jets! WOW! What a game. I was only able to see the first half but wow....what a route! Very well done! They are still on their way to the Superbowl! WHOOOOO!!!!
Black Friday Report - so far!
Well, its about noon now.
I just woke up about 30 min ago! LOL I was up all night at Frys Electronics from about 9pm until about 6:30 am when I got home! I was there with my niece (Nikki). She stood in line and I would go out to get stuff like blankets or hot chocolate and I would take cat naps in the car LOL. Around 4 am I finally got in line with her...and the store finally opened @ 5 am! Now, I am a big guy but people almost ran me down! They were stampeeding the store running in all over the place. It was crazy...so crazy! But so far my sister got a laptop with TONS of extras for 300.00 and the damn thing is better than mine! I got two dvd burners, a home theater system and a microwave so far..and I have some stuff for Christmas too!!!
Now I am resting up a bit and getting ready for round two!

Tonight and tomorrow I am going to my sisters I will probably be there til Friday. Well actually after Dinner Thursday I will be camped out at one of the stores I plan to hit. Then back home to start setting up all of the stuff I will end up buying. Then I will have to grade papers. But that is probably my holiday weekend summed up in 1 small paragraph.

I will be heading out to my sister's this evening. I will be staying with her tonite and tomorrow we are going to be planning my shopping excursion.
It will be a very fun and interesting experience.
What I am thankful for: My family, my cats, my house, my jobs, my true and real friends. And I am also thankful for the freedom that I have been blessed with and our military who works hard to guarantee that freedom.
