From the Jerusalem Post

Israel will file an official complaint to the UN over continued rocket fire on Sderot, Israel Radio reported Monday. Deputy UN Ambassador Daniel Carmon reportedly discussed the matter with the Secretary-General’s Chef de Cabinet, Vijay Nambiar and his Middle East envoy Michael Williams.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Gillerman said that there was a limit to Israel’s restraint, adding that he would speak to the secretary general and demand that the organization intervene and try and put an end to the attacks

If Olmert had balls he would fucking level Gaza.  Can anyone of us seriously imagine what would happen if Mexico started shelling El Paso?  Tucson? San Diego?  We would make Mexico suffer like it was in the 7th level of hell....and actually it might get close to that after this weekend with the President of Mexico stating that wherever there is a Mexican that is Mexico (can you say declaration of war?).  Anyway, when is Olmert going to get his ass out of the PM's position?  Does he seriously think the UN gives two shits about Israel, unless of course it's to condemn Israeli actions against those poor peaceful Arabs?

Apparently, some scientists must have cured cancer and AIDS, because they spent a ton of money researching...

How men and women view kissing, sex and the like.

In a shocking twist, the scientists discovered that men were more interested in sex than in kissing, and viewed kissing as less important as the relationship progressed.

Gee, I could have told these morons that. And why is good grant money being wasted on this tripe when deserving grad students looking for legitimate uses of science have to work two and three side jobs to fund their studies?

But never fear, these "scientists" also came up with other key discoveries:

They were more willing to have sex with someone without kissing, to have sex with someone they are not attracted to and agree to have sex with someone they considered to be a bad kisser.

I am.

As a teacher, I have access to our online library and in my free time I browse the dissertation library and when I have a chance I read some of them.  Each dissertation is about 200 - 700 pages long!  I generally read the ones on History (Roman History, Byzantine History and ancient history) or philosophy and political theory.

For example:

Here is one dissertation:  An analysis of the presentation of women in five high school world history textbooks - the abstract alone is 24 pages!

This one I find really fascinating and its only 293 pages:  Gender, politics, and rhetoric in Byzantium, 1025--1081

And this one is going to be the next one I read! An economic history of the Jews of Byzantium from the eve of the Arab conquest to the Fourth Crusade

Yep I am a total nerd LOL. - I am just glad I don't have to pay for these!

Fred Thompson supposedly is to officially announce his candidacy, the blogs are reporting.  I am torn between Guiliani and Thompson...though right now..I think Guiliani would be a better war president!  And a stronger supporter for Israel.

I received an email in my Gmail from this organization.  It, I think, came from a friend of mine in Texas.  It had his picture on the email as well as his contact information as shown below, so I went to the website to check it out, but I never filed anything out.  And now everyone in my Gmail address book seems to be getting spammed.  I have sent out warnings to everyone not to go to that website.    Whatever it is it is at the very least Spam.

Just a warning to everyone - because I do not give out email addresses to anyone.

This sucks...!  The last week of pre-season Football and Dallas will be starting the season off with another loss!

They better turn it around because next week is the start of the big show!  Dallas needs to win the Super Bowl!   And, I am still confident they can pull it off!

If any of you guys like Sports documentaries and such...HBO has been showing this documentary of the Brooklyn Dodgers.  It's very good, if anything, I wish it was longer than the 2 hours it currently is.  The last hour is about the move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles and that is REALLY informative.

1 wow!! Robert thanks for the review!! unfortunately this is not the "real" version of the clip, due to some new policy restriction on youtube I was unable to upload the full clip with the full ending credits (yesterday night I WAS IN PANIC!!!!! after to hours of upload youtube rejected the video O_O ) damn, I've removed two minutes of the credits!!  also I had to cut and mix the final song, well the result is not so good as the original and I also had to remove all the images of the fans channel on youtube / the fans site & groups and the heep site
I'm sorry for that because I want to give credits to all the fans!
Now I'm in contact with Blockbuster for a mass-distribution of the movie..... LOL haha joking
