Yesterday was a busy day at work....I even ended up staying later - like 2 hours later! But, it was absolutely worth it.
I haven't heard from John about the Jewish Agency stuff yet.
Ok now I am tired.
Part of me already regrets remotely getting back in NR. They are already pushing me. They fucking removed me from the Senate...illegally. I know why Modianus did it. He got caught with his pants down. Do those bastards even know who I am and that I will not give in to their posturing? Well this isn't over yet.
On a more serious note. Jewlicious was reporting that today Sderot experienced its worse barriage of rockets since THE CEASEFIRE started! How fucking ironic is that! Ceasefire - doesn't that mean they are supposed to stop bombings?
Well I sent a note to both Tasha and Dishka to make sure they are Ok (I hope they are not there at the moment and are safe).
I have been wondering about this...especially this year. Does it really feel like Christmas? Usually I enjoy getting an Xmas tree...and going shopping...and wrapping up gifts and such...for friends and family..but this year...totally different feeling. It does not feel like the holiday season - nor is there any motivation to decorate my house. It really feels surreal. Does it feel like a holiday season to you?
I completely agree. It certainly does not feel very merry this holiday season and I can't quite put my finger on as to why that is. We don't even have a tree this year! For me it's either because of the economy or relationships, then again we did just get a year supply of snow overnight and more to come. In any case I would like to wish you and yours a merry christmas and happy new years!

Yeah! I hear you. Well the economic troubles have not affected me (knock on wood) but I don't have a tree this year and never even had a desire to get one. I do need to get more Hanukkah candles today. I am just looking forward to 4 days off...for Xmas and another 4 days for New Years.
In less than two days Chanukah begins! It really is the end of the year. Wow...just wow..how fast time flew.
I know earlier in the year...as I was building up for the trip..time seemed so SOOO slow...almost going backwards at times...Then the trip happened...and instantly time just flew by! One second - the trip was over...2 seconds - the election happened...and I ended back up in NR. 3 seconds and now it is almost 2009!
At Thanksgiving with my sister and her family...I said to them...and to myself...hopefully this will be my last Thanksgiving in the US. I so very much hope that is the case. I hope that by next year...my car and house will be sold...and I will be settled in the Holy Land....I want it to be. I miss that sense of community and involvement that seemed so present there in Israel.
And on the Muqata I learned something interesting. Nefesh B'Nefesh has a program that if an Olim is willing to live up north the state will give you $25k and a car for two years! This on top of the other benefits that one would receive. Now granted, depending on how far north one goes the more dangerous it could become (we all know another war is coming) but still it is food for thought - if job opportunities are available!
DO NOT LOOK in this post! You really do not want to see it. This really is for those interested in Modianus and NR. One of the pictures is well..freaking scary. And yes it will be below the fold.
Here is a pic of Fabius
Here is a pic of Modianus - in his Napeoleon Dynamite pants
The Victorian Age and the Rising of the Second Empire brought great wealth to Britain. wholesale hair Britain also occupied Burma (now known as Myanmar), Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaya, Sarawak, Brunei and some other small states in Asia.
Greg and Anita
I have been friends with them for over a decade, actually closer to 15 years. The day before yesterday I was able to reconnect with them!!!
I was searching for Anita's email address and finally found it so I could tell them about my trip! Well...I think I shocked them when I told them that I am seriously considering moving to Israel. hehehe...So we spent about 2 hours on the phone as I was boring them with what went on....it was so cool picking up where we left off and hearing about what has happened and future hopes and plans. After a couple of hours...we were all getting a bit tired...and I had to do my school work for the night...so we ended the call but I will definitely stay in touch with them and will forward them the day by day AARs to them so they can get a good glimpse of our activities. (they already have the pictures) And I told them about how I got ripped off because my bartering skills are very very weak. LOL
Heath and Deborah Campbell were furious when their local baker in New Jersey
refused to decorate a birthday cake with the name of their baby boy.
But ShopRite, in Holland Township, ignored the parents’ pleas after concluding
that “Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler” was an inappropriate use of icing sugar.
Adolf Hitler Campbell turned 3 this week and celebrated at a party with his
younger sisters Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie (sic – apparently in tribute to
Heinrich Himmler) and JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell.
His parents insisted that some of the toddler’s best friends were black. Mr
Campbell, 35, said that about 12 people attended the birthday party on
Sunday, including several children who were of mixed race.
