hehe I used to listen to this song when I was sick. Just silly memories...it takes me back to when I would stay home from school when I was about 13/14 years old.
Nu Shooz - Should I say yes
Psychedelic Furs - Love my way
The Smiths - How soon is now
AWESOME SONG!!!!

After a few hours and some stressful concerns (focused on trying to avoid any injuries) he got them all done and set up. So, after 4 pm I was back in my office putting in the light blubs..the one in the bedroom is perfect. All I need to do is to get it a bit more stable because on high speeds it tends to rock. But we had a bit of complication in the office LOL. I put in the light bulbs and fired it up...and POOOF...Yep...I noticed a spark and a stench of something burning and then the power went out...it tripped a circut and I noticed a burn mark in the ceiling LOL So, while the fan works, the lighting does not. At this point, its after midnight and I am not going to fuck with it...I know I have zero skills when it comes to electrical BUT, I work in a construction yard...I am sure I can get some of the guys out here just for some beer! LOL
Anyway, I am out..its about midnight and I am TIRED!

While I have been on the 80's kick recently today will be an exception. I will post clips that highlight Biggie Smalls.

Warning...VERY GRAPHIC PHOTOS. VERY GRAPHIC...but I will not hide them:
Photos From the Yeshiva Attack
"You love life, and we love death."
Um, yes.
The thing is though, while we love life, you monsters are making us... not love, but let us say appreciate death a lot more every day.
And then what?
What's your plan then, O Brave Warriors of God?
Well That's Progress For the BBC, I Guess: First the BBC called this massacre an "accident." Then they upgraded it all the way to an "incident."
Guns in school? What an appalling idea:
“We realized something happened so I cocked my handgun,†Yitzhak Dadon told Ynet Thursday evening.“I went up on the roof and waited for the terrorist. Meanwhile, I saw blood and shattered glass,†Dadon said. “The terrorist continue firing in the air, so I waited to see him again, and then I shot him twice in the head.â€
That's from the same link at "an incident" above, at My Pet Jawa.
More... As Allah's headline says, maybe Bill O'Reilly was right about the Huffington Post after all.
A site shouldn't need to shut off comments after a vicious attack on Israeli civilians for fear that its readers will celebrate the murders, should it?

HBO - the station that brought Band of Brothers, Rome, Sopranos etc etc is having a NEW masterpiece - based on David McCullough's John Adams.
John Adams is a very very influential person in American history. Yet, he does not really get the kudos he so richly deserves. Yet, David McCullough's book and the subsequent series might begin to change that.
I just saw the behind the scenes of the series and it looks so richly amazing: The actors, the sets, the costumes absolutely brilliant. I hope this 7 part series is as successful as Band of Brothers!

Here is the clip!
Wow, it was a very funny clip.....and I am so glad that baby was just a doll. I was seriously going to title this post Maternal Instincts run amouck! LOL It was just way too funny. One part Tasha and Dishka playing the mother/older sister role nurturing the baby..and the next minute...wham..the baby gets tossed around...or put in the dryer...just way too funny... Even Dishka's cat had it's way with the doll! LOL. I was cracking up!
All that was missing was fake blood (mythbusters style) and you would have had a horror clip! (Just kidding) hehe...
The music and baby sounds were terrific and I think the best part was the shot with the baby and the beer can and Jack Daniels bottle with the laughing sound effect...And Dishka's reaction when she tosses the baby down the stairs, classic!!!! Just perfection! Excellent job!

During that decade you had some real underground hits like:
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzi Across the 8th Dimension. Man that movie is just so corny it's cool! And it has Mr. Robo Cop - now History Professor Peter Weller & it has John Lithgow as a bad guy! LOL
Then you have the Brat Pack movies.
Music Videos had not totally ruined movies hehe...and there were still creative aspects to Hollywood...
So what were your favorite 80s flicks and why?

I just emailed Chris to get his opinion since we are going there at the same time..and his response is just classic: "Fuck it we are going!" And at this point I completely agree!
What a day for serious conversations!

The comments on Ace's place and other blogs are HILARIOUS - for example:
"nobody puts Pancreas in a corner"
Pain don't hurt, but Cancer kills.
♫"I had the time of my life."♫
Just so bad but so funny too! I hope the rumors are not true.
UDPATE: It is confirmed his agent just made a statement.

Someone is going around with an Osama for Obama shirt...that's gotta hurt...almost as bad as if someone had a shirt Hussein for Hussein and they would have picture of Saddam and Obamessiah! ROFL!!!
FUN TIMES...Fun times...crack out the six pack, pop the popcorn - and enjoy the fire works!
Here is the money quote:
"Osama for Obama" T-Shirt At Hillary Rally; Declares Obama Lies When He Says He Was Never a Muslim
Fu stuff, but if you watch the video, it's not clear to me he's actually a Hillary supporter.
He may, in fact, belong to the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Or perhaps just to the Vast Novelty Political T-Shirt Conspiracy.
"The truth is he was born a Muslim, his father was a Muslim, his mother married a Muslim after divorcing his father. His grandfather was a Muslim. It doesn't matter. But what does matter is when Obama said he was never a Muslim. He was a Muslim. He was born a Muslim. He was a Muslim for six years of his life," Elbaum said.
