1st signs of Death at the Grey Lady
FINALLY! Due to piss poor sales, loss of advertising revenue the NY Times is about to express itself in a very capitalistic way! They are going to begin layoffs, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving company! Ace calls it a bloodbath. I don't, its more of a leeching. For it to be a bloodbath far far more people will need to be terminated than the 100 people who will face the ax this round. However, I am optimistic, give it time. This action will not reverse the tide. There will be many more rounds of bloodletting before this is over.
