Best Christmas - Phone conversation.

I got to speak to Lital

Well let me be more specific, I am off of work.  I dont have to go out.  I dont have to cook today (left over Turkey and trimmings are the best!).  And to top it all off I got to speak to Lital for about an hour on the phone.  And at the end got to speak to Adi as well!

I had to figure out how to get my cell phone to make international calls and since they were closed it took longer to configure it...since I had international calling blocked for years!  LOL

Of course I have the pronounciations all butchered when trying to pronounce their names hehehehe..but good to know.  It was the best hour of Christmas!

Xmas in review

Wow, Christmas is over...and it has been an extremely relaxing day.  Not many days can I say that but today...yep.  I barely left the house.  Had good food...again hehe..and have been cleaning up slowly at my leisure.  Good TV shows (24 hours of A Christmas Story has been on and a SurvivorMan Marathon on Discovery Channel)  Both great shows otherwise I was going to watch the West Wing or That 70s show!

My boss gave me for Christmas:
Both Volumes of The Jewish Book of Why (Shawn this is going to be very helpful for those discussions).
A very nice Xmas bonus.  And the days off!

A Roasted Turkey From Honeybaked Ham (I dont do ham) hehe

I bought myself at the end of Thanksgiving
3 ceiling fans and a home theater system - all of which my brother in law should install for their Xmas gift to me.

For entertainment I got:
Rome - Season 1 DVD
Highlander - Season 1-3 DVD

My cats made out - Turkey more toys and kitty drugs (catnip).

On the whole I enjoyed giving a heck of a lot more than receiving though I did screw up forgetting Xmas cards for my sister. (I just never really did Xmas cards).

On top of all of this I got to speak to Lital and Adi!   That was just way too cool!

Now for the rest of the night I am reading my new books and cleaning up.  What an end to a relaxing day.

Is it me or does it?

Feel like Sunday?

Granted today was a great day.  A very nice and relaxing holiday.  Even the bums (my cats) had turkey today!  Now I am actually looking forward to next Weekend - another 4 days off!!!

My goal by the end of January is to pay off most of my CC's and then to get my tickets for my vacation.  I would have been able to do that now..but I got the car!  Oh well!  Even if it means me postponing it for a month it will all be worth it and I will miss the worst of the heat in Arizona!

Out of the park

Now, I hope some of you are familar with the movie Major League (1989) with Tom Berenger and Charlie Sheen.  Here is the trailier if you are not:

In the movie Charlie Sheen pitches and well at first he is awful.  Bob Uecker (the sports announcer) would try to camouflages how bad he was by saying Oh I dont know how he could lay off that one!  And the ultimate classic line "Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust a little bit outside….."

Well in politics we just had a moment like that.  Thanks to Hilary Clinton and her staff.  In Bum Fuck Iowa, they are having their primary on January 3rd.  However, Hillary's staff did a major fuck up.  See if you can catch it:

“I, _____, pledge to support Hillary Clinton at my precinct caucus on January 14, 2008.”

Thanks to Allahpundit @ Hot Air!

FROM CHRIS

My ffice:smarttags" />Holiday Haircut Disaster!

ffice ffice" />

I walked into my regular barber shop today for a haircut….and it was very very busy, except this one barber who had NO customers! mmmm., usually that is not a good sign. He then asked if I wanted a haircut….in a split second I felt bad for him , sooo I took a slow like…. death row walk to his chair. I then started to notice things about him…as he did his prep work on me… he was at least 90 years old and he had the thickest glasses I have ever seen! (And he will be using a blade on me no less). Soooo off we go…he drops the blade on the floor right away…..shit well that happens…..damn he did it again 5 mins..later…That’s when I noticed his hand SHAKING like he was being electrocuted.

He started talking about his life…but I was so nervous that I was not listening…Then the damn razor that’s plugged in keeps going on and off the whole time…so he runs out to his car…to find another one ( probably one that has been rolling around in dirt for the last 30 years)..that was when the first cut happen on my head…with that damn razor… it felt like he was using my head as a kitchen cutting board…I thought of just getting up and leaving…in the middle of it all…something froze me in that chair…so I closed my eyes for 10 mins..because I really did not want to watch it anymore…….

A couple of more cuts near my ear…and my hair cut was done finally

I left there looking funny….but proud of myself for what I did…he

NEW TASHA CLIP

WHOOOOO....

Honestly, I have not expected one in a while.  But she surprised me.  There is a new clip on youtube, published a few hours ago and only has 9 comments so far!

She sure did cover just about every emotion in this clip...while using a Buffy song in the backdrop.  Its amazing all the emotion that can be filled in a clip.  Very fun and then before you know it very emotional at the same time.  Most definitely a depth there.  When you watch the older clips, some have that depth, others hint at it...but this one much like Stills from life and 30 million is soaked in the depth and range of emotion.

I dont think its about her multiple personalities, as she said in the description, it is just the rage and intensity of the emotions she is experiencing.  See, in the last clip that was put up, Chris and I talked how we felt for the first time we got the impression that Tasha was acting for the camera, trying to hide some of the intensity.  This time, through this clip some of that was let out.   Anyway, I think I have talked too much, enjoy the clip, as I am!

Another Jewish Conspiracy

LOL!  From Ace!

Jew Suede Shoes: The King Was A Yid

—Ace

He had a lot of corrupt mongrel blood feeding his threateningly Negroid soul, but most alarming of all was his apparent Jewish bloodline.

In the fascinating book "Elvis and Gladys" by historian and biographer, Elaine Dundy discovers the Presley and Smith mixed bag of ethnic lineage from Native American Indian to Elvis' Jewish heritage. To be of Jewish heritage is maternal acquisition because there is no mistaking who is the mother of a child. Now because Elvis Jewish heritage ran uninterrupted down through his maternal grandmothers according to Jewish law Elvis Aron Presley would be considered Jewish.

This is what Dundy discovered in her research: "... Nancy Burdine was married to Abner Tacket. Nancy was of particular interest to Gladys for her Jewish heritage, often remembering Nancy's sons for their Jewish names Sidney and Jerome. Nancy and Abner had a daughter Martha (Tacket) who married White Mansell. The daughter which they named Octavia nicknamed Doll who was Elvis' maternal grandmother."

...

After his mother died Elvis personally sought to design his beloved mother’s gravesite which included a Star of David on Gladys Love Presley's tombstone. The decision was made by him in honour of his Jewish heritage. Something his mother was proud of and acknowledged to Elvis at a very early age.

They control the media.

And also: Vegas.

Kyoto Bashing!

Oh I just love bashing Environ wackos who are really socialists hiding behind the environment!

If you want to fucking save the environment, give up smoking first.  Change yourself.  Do not force others to change!

From Ace!

Kyoto Fever: Non-Signatory US Slows Greenhouse Gas Growth More Sharply Than Three-Quarters of Protocol's Signers

But I don't understand how this can be! After all, they signed a piece of paper with quasi-legislative authority!

Everyone knows when you pass a law you change how people behave, instantly! Otherwise, what would be the point of passing lots of laws?

Gee, the whole thing would be rather pointless, wouldn't it?

* Emissions worldwide increased 18.0%.

* Emissions from countries that signed the treaty increased 21.1%.

* Emissions from non-signers increased 10.0%.

* Emissions from the U.S. increased 6.6%.

I blame George Bush.

Meanwhile, no link on this, but Norway, a Kyoto protocol signatory, raised emissions 80% last year.

Gee, what would they have raised them if they hadn't signed?
