Today I received a call from the insurance company of the guy that hit my car.  They are cutting me a check! WHOO!!  It will damn near pay off the car!   So, I think that is probably what I might end up doing with the money.  Just pay off the car outright. I did not think they did $1200.00 worth of damage, but hey, its cool. 

After my vacation, I plan to trade the car in and get a new car, so in the end it works out perfectly.
