Just passing along info on something I feel is important!

I don't know how it works in other countries? however in NY on your Drivers License you can state you want your organs donated upon your death. Many people are on the waiting list to receive an organ, but MANY people die "waiting" because not enough people choose to donate their organs. It's a shame because if they got the organ in time, they would live many more years normally!

My mom was on the list for a liver and it did not look good., amazingly a live person donated half of her liver to my mom, and after a 3 month recovery they bothg are fine. it's called a "living donation". The liver is the only organ that can regenirate itself- back to normal size.
