This is taken from a comment at Wizbangblog - they are discussing Tom Lantos a member of the House of Representatives who verbally threw a nice stone in Beligum  becuase they are feigning outrage over Guantanemo and he told them to stuff it when he said that Wow, you Europeans didnt have this much outrage over Auschwitz! (Keep in mind that Lantos is a Holocaust survivor as well.  It makes his comment that much more biting!)

One of the commetors said this about Old Europe  and it pretty much sums up Europe nicely.  Here is the quote, "Let us in the US get over it, the Western Europeans, driven by Socialist ideals have been wrong for over a hundred years. They make good wine, fancy cars, good meals, and bad governing decisions."
