Today Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez resigned.  I am rather disappointed that he is leaving.  He, in my opinion and most legal opinions did nothing wrong when terminating Federal counsel.  He has every right to do that.  They serve at the pleasure of the President and when the President says their time is done, it's done. 

I hope Chertoff, does NOT replace Gonzalez.   Who knows what will happen, but I wish Mr. Gonzalez the best of luck!
