Round 1 - Home Repairs

Good morning everyone! It is a balmy 62 degrees here in lovely Arizona!  This is the perfect time to be in this state!  Even though the temperature by the end of the day approaches the mid to upper 80's, it's still wonderful compared to the 115 degrees we were experiencing a month ago.

So, as most of you know after work I either end up going to the gym or going to work out with my personal trainer/nutritionist.  I do that for about an hour and a half and then my boss and I usually end up going shopping.  Yesterday we go to Steinmart and this bookstore in Chandler.  Both of us were sore so we felt we needed to walk off some of the cramps we were experiencing in our legs.  I end up finding these beautiful glass ornaments for a Christmas Tree and they were on sale so I bought them.  I also ended up getting 3 books.  One on the Eastern Roman Empire, one on Roman Voting Assemblies From the second Punic War until Caesar (by Lily Ross Taylor -  I had this book before and lent it to my friend - but when I moved he never gave it back - the bastard! hehe), and one other book about forbidden art - the Sexual art in the frescoes at Pompeii.  All of these books are just too cool.   And, as I am walking out of the store I realize I have bought more books this year than I have in all of last year!

By the time I get home - this is probably around 7:30 going on 8 pm, it's dark already.  I grab my mail, I see a message that the stucco people were at my  house and they state they did their work.  I basically go in and basically do some school work and crash.

This morning I wake up and about 6:40 I am leaving for work.  And as I start my car, I look at my house and my mouth drops and hits the floor.  My house is freaking polka dotted now!  Yeah the stucco guys were there yesterday.  My house now has a base of beige color with dots of stucco grey!  I swear I counted at least 30 patchs of stucco.  I get out of the car and walk around my house and just gazed at the "repairs" or  as I call them the polka dots around my house.  But, in realization I now know which houses in my neighborhood have had inspections and repairs and which ones have not.

My poor house!

Well, today the air conditioning people will be over.  They have to fix my unit, a wire that is loose and a closed vent.  This means I get off of work early today!!! WHOOOOO!!!
