Well my 4 days at the hospital will probably run close ot 20k!  Between the medical transport, CT Scans, PICC Catheter, lots of morphine and antibiotics (at least 2 days for the morphine),  4 days of being trapped in a place with no internet access. Yep $20k.  In the end my portion is going to be closer to 700 since I already paid $800 for a previous ambulance ride back in January.  I guess it could be worse.  No, I know it could be worse - but still damn.  At least I am feeling better now.
