Tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM a Nefesh B'Nefesh flight full of new
olim (a.k.a. greeners) will have just arrived from the United States,
and the travelers will embark on their new lives in Israel.
They
will be having a welcoming ceremony, at 7:30 AM. Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu, a.k.a. Bibi, will be the special guest at the
ceremony.
I am proud to present to you the ability to watch the
ceremony live, while sitting in your pajamas, underwear, or even a
tuxedo, in your house in front of your computer tomorrow morning, at
7:30 am in streaming video.
Check back here at 7:30 am.

When I was flying to Israel - this was one of the movies being shown on British Airways at that time. I tried to watch it then - didn't like it at all. Now, nearly a year later it's on Starz channel and everytime its on I end up watching it.
Probably a combination of reasons from remembering the trip and flight. The final reason is because parts of it (not many) are funny.

Click here to read the entire article. It is about the Pixies kicking off a mini-tour.
Here is the key quote:
Although many credit "Doolittle" as being the vehicle that really launched the careers of the Pixies (and subsequent solo projects by Black Francis/Frank Black and Kim Deal), the album didn't spend much time on the U.S. pop charts. Not to be overlooked is the video above created by one of the first YouTube phenoms, Tasha and Dishka of Israel, whose lip-synched tribute to the Doolittle hit "Hey" has been seen more than 27 million times.

But, it will be Adi's B-day!
I had sent a gift to her - late - unfortunately, but at least I know it will get there.
Happy B-day Dishka and I hope this year is even better than last year!
So, what we will do this year is post some prominent Adi clips!

Today I think is the worst damnit moment I have had.
I found this OUTSTANDING BLOG that helps one to budget in Israel.
One of his tips was to find bed and breakfasts instead of hotels....and he referenced this website.
So, I am checking this website out - yes English subtitles and OMG!!!! I wish I WISH I knew about this. Damn it! Some of these places are so gorgeous! DAMNIT..it would have made our outstanding vacation even more so...it would have taken it to 11 on the scale!

I dont know the details of the dream, but I am surprised because I have not spoken to Denise in a while.
I will, of course, NOT stop my move to Israel. It is the only time I felt like I was home since my mother was alive.
I yearn to be there - and I will be there!

I wont put the house up for sale until the spa is done. At least operational. Though I do plan to install a gazebo and misters for the back yard (that will help raise the value - and it wont cost alot to do).
I have been researching ALOT of Israeli blogs. Even found some hilarious frum (religious blogs). I had no idea that frum girls (some of them) frown on guys complimenting their dress. Anyway, I think I would love to settle either near Haifa or near Tel Aviv - still pretty much rule Jerusalem out given the traffic mess there.
I think alot of my spare funiture I will just give to Tink to help her rebuild - since there is no practical reason for me to take it with me to Israel. It seems sort of odd that in a year I can be there...and so looking forward to being home - and starting a new adventure.

Still one of my most favorite songs EVAH - and yes reminds me of Israel.
Lily Allen - The Fear
This song reminds me of Lital for some reason. It is actually the anti-Lital and Adi song - in reality.
EBTG - Tracey in my room
AWESOME SONG!!!
