IS ABOUT DONE!!! Can you freaking believe it.  All I need is the electrician to do the final breaker set up and install and then it is time to test the jets! WHOOOOOO!!! 

Only bummer part is it is about 110 degrees - and there is no gazebo covering - so no way in hell will I be using the spa until the weather cooperates!

I have a friend staying with me for a while.  Jennifer (Tink for short) she used to live in Colorado but suffered a few life changing experiences so for now she is staying with me.   It will be just a temporary stay while she rebuilds a bit, saves some money up and will get a place of her own down here.  In the meantime, she has her own room and my cats have to deal with her cats!  LOL....there is a fight EVERY NIGHT so far without fail! LOL

She came here last Thursday and we have gotten along great (the cats - well thats another story).  I hope that within 6 months or so she will be able to be in a much stronger position to be back on her own.

I sort of look at this in two ways - 1 - I feel the need to get used to a roommate since there is always that possiblity once I make the aliyah. 2 - she is a friend in need - and it's not like I am using all the rooms of my house.  It's just too bad that it has to be under the circumstances she is in.

But, in the end she will be better off and she is safe.

I saw it last Thursday - the second day it came out.  It was really good.  Not as dark as I thought it would be; but very well done and VERY LONG.  I highly recommend it.  I will probably need to see it at least one more time because it was the kind of flick that you need to see at least twice to make sure you got everything.  I am pretty sure I missed somethings!

The next two movies are going to be great.  This kinda reminded me of the Empire Strikes Back - getting ready for the Final Battle against the Empire so to speak. LOL

Overall about 8.5 out of 10!

Well I sent the sentence to Lital.  Good news it was Hebrew letters.  But, it didn't make sense.  Oh well. 

Seriously, I need like a month where I can just focus on learning Hebrew straight with minimal interruptions.  Then I can at least gain enough to hold a basic...kindergarten type of conversation! LOL

I just got an iPhone app that allows me to type in Hebrew! I just sent a test message to Shawn and if that works I will try to send it to Lital.  That will be very cool..and hopefully a better way for me to learn the language!

Damn it..I wish I of it before the vacation!  But this will most assuradly be used daily probably once I get to Israel!!!!!

And, I already have my classes DONE!  What a day! 

I even found a theater that was showing Harry Potter early...went there.and nope..they lied! LOL

Now I am cleaning up the house....catching up on things..and in between resting! 

I should have everything uploaded for the aliyah this week.

And speaking of this week it is going to be really weird.  I am going to have a friend stay with me for a bit.  So for the first time in a long time...I will have a guest for a bit.  It will be interesting.

Well if you shop at Sears or KMart!

Starting today..both stores are opening their Christmas departments again!  Can you believe it!!!  It's 112 degrees here and these stores are going to be promoting Christmas stuff.

Yes this means artifical trees, Xmas wreaths, decorations and lights! 

And, instead of getting people credit....since the credit crunch...these stores are promoting Lay-a-way!   That seriously brings back memories of when my mom would go to GEMCO, Target and KMart buy stuff and make regular payments - instead of using credit. 

What is old...is new again!

Today we head back home.

It is 9 am...school is ALL DONE!!!!

New classes set up.

Get to see grandma again today!

I am so not used to having Sunday off basically! LOL  THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!

I might use my free movie ticket once I get home...depends on how I feel after the drive back LOL!!!

A very successful trip..and the fireworks were awesome!!!

Today I get to see my grandmother.  I will show her the letter I got for my aliyah!

I will have dinner with Johnathan...so we can catch up like we do when I come home. 

I will not be able to meet Steve (Fabius).  But, beyond that everything is progressing swimmingly.

I got my two contracts for my new classes!!! That is a bit sigh of relief!  FUN TIMES!!!

Tomorrow we will be heading back home!
