Bush's brain - the architect of Bush's victory in 2000 and 2004 is supposed to resign at the end of this month.
Seriously, he blew the 2006 midterms...but withstanding that he did overall a good job until Shamnesty.
His influence in the political process will continue to be felt for years to come. Give him his due - he did a bang up job overall! And that is what pissed off the Democrats. But, they are now losing their favorite target.
Good bye Mr. Rove or lest we forget MC Rove! Good luck in your future endeavors!
Update: Here are some takes on Rove's resignation

The Journal's conclusion: "The widespread oral sex practices among adolescents may be a contributing factor in this increase."
So, what does this mean? Was that Merck's stock I just heard go through the roof? Or was it the sound of lawmakers clamoring to legislate mandatory vaccinations of all fourth graders against an STI?
Sure, the vaccine is a formidable biotechnological feat. But it provides incomplete protection, it has unknowns, and costs $360 per child.
Interesting, but it's not 100% effective. But then nothing ever is. You know I remember back at the height of the AIDS scare they said you will get STD's via oral sex.
On a humorous note - But wait, I thought Bill Clinton said oral sex isn't sex! And we all know Bubba Trash cant be wrong!

I think the dates are going to be the first week of June around June 3rd - June 15th. She has given me advice that I should take a day extra and stay in London.
I should be able to get my ticket in about 2 months and next week I am going to apply for my passport. My tentative plan is to spend 4 days in Tel Aviv, 4 days in Jerusalem and 3 days in Haifa (I dont know what order, yet). And, I am still picking out some of the major sites that I want to see - but I still have plenty of time for that too. I know I have to get luggage, board the bums, make arrangements for my sister to watch the house, arrange hotel accommodations and such.
Man, I seriously cannot wait until next June!!

Because lets face it - the Earth is cock-slapping us for global warming! Really! It's true!
Here is the title of the blog post:
First the Rightwing Parody, Then the Leftwing "Reality:" Yes, They're Now Claiming Global Warming *Causes Volcanos, Earthquakes*
Here is the part of the article in question:But last year's parody becomes this year's Inconvenient Truth. And the Cult of Mother Gaia, in all its illogical theocratic glory, officially takes the inevitable step towards deistic teleological anthropomorphization.
What? I don't know what the hell that meant either. I think I channeled Jeff Goldstein for a minute.
Earth is angry, boys. And earth plans to cock-slap the lot of you. (That much of Goldstein I "get.")
Oh, and lest we forget to blame the Jews for global warming - Ace added this part too!
Ecstatic Religious Millennialism Update! Just so you know this guy is a serious scientist, and not at all a religious zealot clownishly toting "THE END IS NEAR" placards, I'll have you know he's written an extremely nuanced and scientifically cautious book called Surviving Armageddon: Solutions For a Threatened Planet.
Surviving Armageddon.
Will this happen before or after the Jews rebuild the Temple of Solomon, I wonder?
Damn Jews and their Satanic global-warming zionism.
Yep, its all our fault. I take full responsibility. I burn coal (in Arizona) for no reason whatsover other than the fact that I know it causes global warming. And, no I don't purchase carbon offsets - I let those pansy's (Al "carbon neutral Gore and John (Silk Pony) Edwards) purchase those!

What an excellent Thursday! We got two new clips! This one is the Girls becoming Zookeepers. They show us the behind the scenes and unglamourous jobs that zookeepers around the world do on a daily basis. Feed the animals, clean the cages and meeting Grizzly Adams! LOL.
I have to say I really liked the slap Tasha did on Dishka that was as good as the Circus audition when Tasha played the snake and Dishka the snake charmer! LOL
Well back to the clip, what a wide variety of animals!

But, hey, lets enjoy this new clip now! (as I sip on my Starbucks Raspberry Mocha) we see the girls, I believe in Laos. Shopping at a late night market, I think. Those are beautiful textiles. AND YAY!!! we get to see more amazing scenery and waterfalls! The lake and the waterfall are stunning. I wonder what happened to the camera though LOL I guess we now know just how durable that camcorder is LOL!
Ok I guess I should point out that part of this clip should be rated for no one under the age of 13. LOL Ok probably a lame joke, but at least I try.
I wish I knew what Dishka was saying.
Now who were the celebrities showing up in the airport @ about 2 min into the clip?

When I was in 8th grade there was a writing contest. There was a poetry, a dialogue and a short story contest. In the last day of the contest I decided I was going to enter - originally I had no intention on entering. I didn't think I had the knack for writing and I figured I had no real shot on winning. However, my mother gave me the push and I did. I wrote a small story about a page in a half about the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. It took no more than about 10-15 min. in total. The next day I turned it in and promptly forgot about it.
Approximately 2 months later I was summoned to the principal's office. Here I was in the President's list and such thinking G-d what did I do am I in trouble for something? Nope, I was there with the principal, my academic advisor and someone from UCR to notify me that I had actually won the award! Even now its sort of funny....when I think back because I put no real effort into it. They all had read it and said they found it emotional and they were riveted to the story. About 2 weeks later there was a ceremony (my dad and I attended) at UCRiverside where all three winners were honored by the college and were given nice introductions and plaques. I still have mine
